Description and History:
This is the 32-940 (32940) Bachmann OO gauge Class 150 2-Car Diesel Multiple Unit in GWR Green livery (2015) - No.150232.
The Class 150, also known as a "Sprinter" is a type of Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) built in York by BREL for 3 years from 1984. Their construction at the end of the 80s was meant for the replacement of "heritage" railcars such as the Class 117. They were developed alongside their cheaper counterparts, the "Pacers" and were based on BRs Mark 3 body design for longer-distance services.
This locomotive is DCC ready and has an 21 pin socket, a chip for which is available from here. Fitting a chip is required for DCC operation.
